The Restorative Power of Salt Baths

After a hectic day at work, soaking in a long hot bath is the most pleasurable experience. Stepping into a warm tub filled with bubbles is the equivalent of sinking into a massage chair, and it smells heavenly too. Instead of spending a lot of your hard-earned money to visit expensive spas, you can recreate the same amount of pampering in the comfort of your home with bath salts. Bath salts are crushed minerals that dissolve in water. These are organic and all-natural products that leave your skin feeling extra smooth. There are also many health benefits to using bath salts instead of regular soaps.

Colored Bath Salts

There are many colorful options when it comes to bath salts, and all of them have essential natural ingredients and nutrients for the body. It all depends on the feeling you want and the scent you prefer. Colorful salts that are blue and purple can be the most soothing, while light color salts have an energizing effect. It does not matter which bath salt you choose because all of them have various health benefits.

Sooth Sore Muscles

If you suffer from sores and muscle aches, bath salts can loosen those stiff joints and relax your muscles quickly. They enter your body through the skin and are beneficial for healing any pain or swelling. A lot of pain is usually caused by injuries or inflammation in the muscles. Soaking in bath salts helps soothe the affected tissues within the muscles. Although it is not wise to overexert yourself by over exercising, a dip using bath salts after every gym session can prevent your muscles from cramping.

Reinvigorating Body, Mind and Spirit

When it comes to relaxation, bath salts provide a therapeutic experience through their tantalizing scents. Aromatherapy reduces the perception of stress and makes you feel content by lifting a significant weight off your shoulders. Powerful aromas such as Lavender, Jasmine, and Eucalyptus are known to lower cortisol. Cortisol is the body’s primary stress hormone and is present in our bodies to control our mood, fear, and motivation. Lavender salts help promote sleep in both adults and children, especially if you suffer from counting too many sheep. They contain organic lavender oils that enhance blood circulation and act as an antiseptic. Jasmine bath salts are useful in reinvigorating the body and mind to leave you tension-free for a long time. They have an aphrodisiac effect of awakening your senses and boosting a lot of confidence. If you are feeling under the weather, eucalyptus salts have potent healing properties. They are packed with natural eucalyptus oil, which quickly recovers both the body and mind. Inhaling the fresh eucalyptus aroma can improve your breathing if you have a stuffy nose.

Bath Salts for Weight Loss

When it comes to weight loss, a lot of relaxation in the tub with bath salts can burn calories and reduce bloating. This is because bath salts help drive out any sweat and toxins from the body and prevent excess water retention. Although they do not provide instant results in terms of weight loss, you will feel a lot cleaner, and the texture of your skin becomes much smoother. After every bath, you will feel healthier and more re-energized than before. Bath salts are incredibly beneficial for helping the body release all that extra water and detoxifying any impurities. Combined with a healthy diet and exercise, you will start seeing more weight-loss results in no time.

Stress Relief

Bath salts provide immediate stress-relief through a concoction of powerful scents and organic mineral-rich salts to help relax the nervous system. They are one of the most reliable forms of organic skincare products on the market. If you suffer from a lot of stress, the most natural way to release tension is by stepping into the tub. Simply fill your bathtub with warm water and open a brand-new container of bath salts. Choose between any of the therapeutic variety of natural aromas available. Pour them into your tub and watch them dissolve.

Natural Skin Growth

Bath salts promote the natural growth of skin cells, and you will notice a significant difference in the way your skin looks and feels after the first wash itself. Most toxins in our bodies are carried through our skin, and the right bath salts quickly cleanse and flush them all out. No other bath products have such strong antimicrobial effects.

How to Use Bath Salts?

If you want a detox bath, open the container of our Lavender Rock Bath Salt. Pour the salt in running water so that it dissolves faster. You can even pour it directly in the tub if it is already filled with water, the salt will simply take a little longer to dissolve completely. Then lay back and soak in the tub for fifteen minutes.

To relieve muscle aches, pour our Jasmine Rock Bath Salt in warm running water. Stir the water by hand for a few seconds if some salt hasn’t fully dissolved. Then step into the tub and soak for about twelve minutes. Even if you decide to stay in longer, there is no harm. Slowly you will start to feel your muscles relax, and all that stress will dissipate.

The aromatherapy from high-quality natural bath salts can go a long way in restoring your energy and aura. You will feel healthier after all those toxins from your body have expelled. All your muscles will benefit from the massaging effects of the water mixed with salts. You will always experience a sense of inner peace and calmness with every bath. Light those scented candles and play your favorite music to create the mood because you will never want to leave the tub again.

Essential Oils to Balance Chakras

POSTED ON MAY 15, 2019

The word “chakra” means wheel in Sanskrit. The chakras are depicted as spinning wheels of energy. Different practices have slightly different concepts of the chakras, but they are thought to pull energy from the body and radiate it to the environment surrounding the individual. Additionally, if the need arises, they can pull in energy from the world or the people in the surroundings. Essentially, chakras are thought to be an energetic connection to the world.

The first writings about the chakras are dated at approximately 1000 B.C., and their origins are based strongly within Hinduism, but the concepts of chakras and energy centers is also fundamental within the Ayurvedic concepts of prana and the Chinese practice of qi.

Root Chakra

Located at the base of the spine, the root chakra is associated with survival issues, self-preservation instinct, and the fight or flight response.

On the physical level, the root chakra is associated with adrenal glands, the skeletal structure, teeth, large intestine, kidneys, and the blood.

On the emotional level, root chakra imbalance may manifest as anger or rage, fearfulness, frustration, anxiety, and depression.

On the mental level, someone with a root chakra imbalance may experience black and white thinking, pessimism or negative thinking about life.
